Youth Programs

UCSB Recreation Youth Programs promote the wellness and development of youth in our community. We aim to create an environment where children can enhance their social and emotional skills, create a sense of agency within themselves, and broaden their community. We integrate the important teachings of kindness, collaboration, health, and wellness into every aspect of our programs. In addition, we prioritize safety and risk management and our staff members receive thorough background checks, relevant training, and First Aid/AED/CPR certifications.

Our programs utilize UCSB Recreation's award-winning facilities. Our Recreation Center has multiple pools, sports fields, basketball courts, and more! We also use facilities across UCSB's campus, such as our Adventure Ropes Course, gymnastics gym, and on-campus beach, Campus Point.
