  • ALL injuries, especially concussions, regardless of the nature of origin, must be reported to the Athletic Training staff.
  • As this is a healthcare facility, athletes are encouraged to but not required to be masked.
Note: If you are ill or experiencing allergy/cold like symptoms a mask will be required and provided to you if you show up without one.
  • An ATR staff member will sign athletes in. We have gone digital! Please be patient with us. Statistics generated from this process help us justify added services and funds.
  • All injuries MUST be evaluated BEFORE any treatment is administered.
  • All treatments, inclusive of taping, will be determined by staff.
  • All supplies must be distributed by a staff member. Please do not help yourself without being instructed to do so.
  • Appropriate clothing is required at all times (jeans make it difficult to evaluate your hip or knee for instance).
  • All changing of clothes must be strictly done in the locker rooms or restrooms, not in the ATR.
  • Shoes/cleats are not allowed on the treatment tables.
  • Cleats are not to be worn inside the building.
  • Swearing will not be tolerated.
  • Please be respectful of this facility and staff at all times.
  • Direct all questions or concerns toward the Athletic Trainers or student staff.  We are here to help and this is a safe environment.

As an Athletic Training Intern (ATI) you learn the tools to work directly with Sport Club Athletes to assess, rehabilitate, and prevent injuries, as well as first aid and emergency care. ATIs gain valuable experience in the field of Sports Medicine with hands-on experience and guided mentorship from Certified Athletic Trainers. During weekly in-service meetings, all of our interns learn about anatomy, mechanisms of injury, and practice assessment and treatment skills.
