The Climbing Center has been closed to the public until further notice as of March 15th at 2pm. We are evaluating a plan to reopen and do not plan on remaining closed if the Recreation Center is open.

As this is a rapidly changing situation, please check back here for notices about our future reopen date.

All climbing center classes and clinics have been cancelled at this time. Cancellations and refunds will be processed starting Monday, March 16.

rock wall

General Info

If you haven’t seen the UCSB indoor climbing center, then you are missing out. Not only is it a beautiful work of art, but it is also a very challenging training facility. The wall, designed by Entre Prises USA Inc., is the largest imprint wall on the west coast! It offers a dedicated bouldering section, a 30 foot main wall, top rope climbing, lead bolts, belay ledge and three crack features. The club atmosphere allows climbers to train, share techniques, exercise, meet new friends, and plan weekend outings to the rocks. The facility is open daily which allows for training after you get off work or out of class. Harnesses or rock shoes are available to rent.

If you are under the age of 18, you will need a parent to sign our waiver. You can download our waiver here!
