UCSB Adventure Programs is proud to offer gear and equipment rentals for UCSB students, staff, faculty, and community members who are at least 18 years old. Read all the relevant information in the "Important Links" section below.
You can rent individual gear or sign up for an Adventure Pass, which gives you unlimited personal access to one of each rental for only $59 (Students) or $199 (Non-Students) per year.

Closures Due to Weather or Other Factors
Hours are subject to change depending on weather, staffing, special events, or other challenges outside of our control.
Campus Point Rental Center is closed during inclement weather. We may be closed up to 72 hours after rainfall to prevent bacteria exposure due to storm run-off. Ocean winds may close us down periodically for safety issues. Check Campus Point Webcam for current conditions. If the rental sign is out and visible, we're open!

Unlimited Gear Rentals for an Entire Year
$59 for UCSB Students and $199 for Non-Students for a full calendar year!
Let UCSB Adventure Programs take care of all the equipment and have it ready for your next trip or afternoon at the beach. All you do is show up, check in, then go play. You'll have unlimited rentals for yourself to all gear and equipment from the following locations:
- Adventure Rental Center: Trips, Camping & Backpacking
- Campus Point Rental Center: Ocean Sports, Kayaking, Surfing, SUP
- Adventure Climbing Center: Climbing Shoes & Harnesses
