The APC is located at Robertson Gymnasium, Room 1420.

Under the direction of UCSB Department of Recreation, the Athletic Performance Center (APC) shall provide strength and conditioning services designed to enhance athletic performance and decrease probability of injury for all UCSB Sport Club athletes. It is our goal to provide the means by which our student athletes are able to train consistently, sensibly, and systematically over designated periods of time in a safe, clean, and professional setting. Furthermore, we aim to deliver our service to the maximum number of club sport teams and athletes without bias or prejudice. Ultimately, it is our goal to foster a positive, fun, respectful, and competitive environment. We are highly motivated to attain our goals, and expect this value to be reflected in our program.

APC Hours for Fall 2024

Monday: 9am - 6pm
Tuesday: 9am - 6pm
Wednesday: 9am - 6pm
Thursday: 9am - 6pm
Friday: 9am - 2pm

Hours may vary. Closed on weekends & university holidays.
Hours before 9am and after 6pm are subject to the availability of student staff.

Finals week hours vary from the regular schedule (no team times) and will be posted ahead of time.

Team Times vs Open Hours

Team times are scheduled in advance of the upcoming quarter and are designed for all members of the same team to train together.

Open hours (generally mid-day), are available for any Competitive Sport Club athlete to train. This may be an athlete whose team does not have a designated training time, or an athlete who cannot attend their team's time due to class or work conflicts, for example.

All athletes using the facility must be fully cleared on DSE.
