Virtual Wine Workshop

How do I register?

Register here to RSVP, verify your age and receive the Zoom link.

Who can participate?

This wine class is open to UCSB Staff, Faculty, Graduate Students, and Community members (21+).

How much is the workshop?

This educational Zoom workshop is FREE; however, participants may choose to purchase up to three of the selected wines we will taste and review during the workshop. Each bottle retails up to $30. The featured local wines are as follows:

  • Sauvignon Blanc from the Los Olivos District by Brander
  • Syrah from Ballard Canyon by Luna Heart
  • Cabernet Sauvignon from Happy Canyon by Brave & Maiden

Purchasing the Wines
All three selected wines may be locally sourced.

We suggest supporting a local small business where all 3 bottles are available!
Renegade Wines, 417 Santa Barbara St., A-6, Santa Barbara.

Additionally, Brander is a larger producer and their Sauvignon Blanc may be found at other stores including Costco, Bevmo, and local grocery stores.

I have my wine, now what?

Prep! If you choose to taste with us, grab your wine, glasses (we recommend 1 per wine), some cheese and crackers to pair with and cleanse your palate, and come ready to learn!

Tune In! Join the Zoom room at 7pm on Thursday, February 18 and get ready to celebrate National Drink Wine Day!
